Operated by the U.S. Air Force, the SR-71 Blackbird is a long-range, Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft developed as a black project in the 1960s by Lockheed’s Skunk Works division. It performed at high speeds and altitudes to outrace enemies during aerial combat, and was also able to detect and avoid ground missile attacks.
This Revell model is an accurate representation of the SR-71 and includes a GTD-21reconnaissance drone with cart. Molded in black and clear.
